
Beverly Lumbres Caimen was born on June 20, 1994] and is known by her mononym as Beverly. She is a Filipino performer who is based in Japan under the label AvexTrax. Her name is widely known for her numerous soundtrack appearances such as "Be the one" and "Be the One" from Kamen Rider Build, and "Koko" (Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle). Beverly Caimen was born on June 20, 1994 in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines as the third child to Ramon Vega Caimen and Leticia Valdez-Lumbres. She also had two brothers and sisters. Beverly started singing when she was five years old. Her mother would take her to school and she discovered that Beverly had a talent for singing. When she was seven years older, she was a member of the school choir and started singing lessons at the age of nine. Her mother also encouraged her to join in the choir. It was around this time that she competed in her first singing competition but she didn't win. The mother of her child encouraged her to continue on regardless of the fact that she didn't succeed. Batangas State University gave her the opportunity to earn a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began singing in amateur contests , pursuing her dream. She came first in the World Championships of Performing Arts and recorded her songs under GMA Records and worked with composer Vehnee Saturno. During this time she released her debut and only album for GMA, Beverly Caimen. Beverly was nominated for Best Performance by Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She was also awarded the A Song of Praise Music Festival year-long award for Best Performance.
