Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna Silk is daughter of a Briton as well as the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a child, she was featured in a variety of commercials.
