Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress director producer, and vocalist. An attractive, clever and gifted actress, she's a great model for Asian actors aspiring to become big names in Hollywood. After a series of appearances on popular television series, she became famous for her role on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. The actress took her initial fame into major screen roles in movies such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Then, she gave an an excellent acting performance on Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese criminal O Ren Ishii. In the same time frame she also acted as the lead in several flops on the box-office including Rise: Blood Hunter. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small screen characters, failed to achieve any kind of success.
