Taylor Swift may be the most rare of all pop artists: one capable of effortlessly bridge the gap between pop and country, conquering the globe. That was an obvious indicator that Swift had entered a new pop world where she fit in. When she reduced her sound with the stripped-down releases of 2020, Folklore, and Evermore but she was still in the top spot. The position was defended through re-recordings of her previous catalog as along with Midnights the synth-based chart-topper 2022 album.
