Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia, is an actress and model. In Australia she gained notoriety for her character as Pepper Steiger in Neighbors, an soap-opera which ran for 100 episodes between the period 2006-2007. Her initial project with Hollywood was the choral-comedy Hollywood & Wine, where she played an actress who is new to Hollywood. After that, she was offered a regular part in the 9th season of Scrubs in the role of Maya who is a very attractive medical student. However, the show is abruptly stopped. In the following year, she continued filming her Farrelly Brothers comedy called Good to Shoot, which starred the duo Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson. Then she appeared in B-series films and series shorts. In 2013, she began to be exposed more widely. After having appeared in six episodes of the show about detectives Franklin and Bash and landing her first role as a regular in the web series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia, the actress has been offered several projects.
