Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980, in Australia, is a model and an actress. Her fame was first noticed in Australia through her character Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap series Neighbors in a series of ten episodes that ran between 2006 and 2007. The first show she appeared with Hollywood was the choral-comedy Hollywood & Wine that she appeared in, in which she played a young actress who is new to Hollywood. Following her role as Maya in Scrubs in which she played in a very attractive medical student. However, the show is abruptly ended. She then continued filming a Farrelly Brothers comedy called Good to Shoot that starred Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson. Then she performed in B-series films as well as series shorts. In 2013, she started to get noticed to a wider audience. After being featured in six episodes on the detective drama Franklin and Bash and landing her first part on the regular cast of the webseries Chosen featuring Milo Ventimiglia, the actress was offered a variety of roles. She plays in the first two seasons of the series as well as giving the response to Chad Michael Murray. She then played supporting roles in the two feature films which focused on airplanes. The first one was a TV film produced by SyFy's Flight 7500 which featured actors from TV series. In the other, she is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She's a flight attendant. More importantly, she along with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador the brand-new TV show. This thriller series where the actors embody CIA agents, and is produced with director Robert Rodriguez however does not surpass a full season of 13 episodes. The pilot for the show, which has not had much success, is in development. In 2015, she also released the promotional poster for a B-Series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause and then was seen as the comic Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. Also, she is one of the stars in a huge number of the Terrence Malick's experimental Knight of Cups. She also appears in five episodes of the Satisfaction series.
