Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. Her fame was first noticed in Australia with the role of Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap opera Neighbors over a period of one hundred episodes that were broadcast from 2006 to 2007. In Hollywood it was her first time on two projects. First was Hollywood & Wine where she played an actress who was struggling. In the end, she was cast as Maya in Scrubs the show, she portrayed an extremely seductive medical student. The show abruptly ended. Then, she went on to make a Farrelly brothers-produced comedy called Good To Shoot featuring the Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter, the actress appeared in small-scale series and B series films. In 2013, she was able to land more exposed projects. She appeared in six episodes of the show detective Franklin and Bash then landed her first regular part on the web-series Chosen carried on by Milo Ventimiglia. She appears in the opening two seasons also giving the reply to Chad Michael Murray. Following that she was seen in supporting roles in two feature films involving airplanes. She is an air hostess. Above all, she along with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador, a brand new TV show. The season for this thriller that sees the actors portray CIA agents under Robert Rodriguez's direction, is only 13 episodes. In the meantime, she is working in a pilot project which does not work out. In 2015 she therefore shared the trailer for a B-series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause later, she appeared in the comedy Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. She is also part of a very large number of the Terrence Malick's experiment Knight of Cups. Also, she is featured in five episodes of the Satisfaction series.
